Dhanteras Puja Vidhi
Dhanteras is a festival of happiness, prosperity, and health. On this day, Lord Dhanvantari, Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Kuber, and Yamraj are worshipped.
1. Dhanvantari Puja
Lord Dhanvantari is the god of Ayurveda. He is worshipped for good health.
Method:
- Setup a platform in the Ishan corner (North-East).
- Place an image or idol of Lord Dhanvantari.
- Offer incense, flowers, lamp, and sweets (Naivedya).

2. Kuber Puja
Lord Kuber is the god of wealth. He is worshipped for prosperity.
Method:
- Place a Kuber Yantra or image in your safe or puja room.
- Offer Haldi, Kumkum, and flowers.

3. Yam Deepdan
To avoid untimely death, a lamp is lit for Yamraj in the evening.
Method:
- Make a four-faced lamp (Chaumukha Diya) using flour.
- Fill it with sesame oil.
- Place it outside the main door, facing South.

May Lord Yamraj, the son of Sun, who holds the noose of death, be pleased with this lamp donation on Trayodashi and protect me from untimely death.
